One Week Boutique runs completely on volunteers. We need your help to set-up, staff and run the event. It takes a minimum of 100 volunteers to run this sale!
You DO NOT have to be a consignor to volunteer at One Week Boutique sale. Moms, pregnant moms, grandmothers, dads...anyone who wants to shop early for great deals can volunteer!
If volunteers work an 8 hour shift (or two combined 4 hr. shifts) then you shop on Thursday, April 8 at 4PM; if you work a 4 hour shift during our sale then you shop at 5:30PM. NOTE: some shifts designated with (*) are shorter hours but count as a higher pass, what a deal! You can volunteer for assigned times between Tuesday, April 6 and Tuesday, April 13. We especially need dads to help Tuesday, April 6th evening set up and Tuesday, April 13th evening breakdown–these are short shifts that earn BIG hours!
So remember...By volunteering at One Week Boutique you earn a pre-sale pass that lets you shop EARLY!
What will I do as a volunteer at One Week Boutique?
They are all fun jobs! You will meet other moms, dads and grandmas, aunts and sisters. Some of the things you may do are: help us keep the sales floor straightened and neat, replace tags that have fallen off, greet customers as they arrive, help sack purchased items at check out, assist customers in finding correct sizes or items. On drop off days you may be hanging merchandise as it arrives, on sorting day you will be helping us put unsold items under the correct consignor number for pick up. All the jobs are easy; we always say "if you can count to 50 you've got it made"! We need your help as this sale is very large and it takes numerous people to make it run smoothly from start to finish.
The complete volunteer worker schedule is below. If you would like to earn an 8 hour pre-sale pass, just choose any 2 shifts that total 8 hours. These shifts can be on the same day or on different days.
CHECK THIS OUT: Volunteer both Tuesday, April 6 from 6-9PM and the following week on Tuesday, April 13 from 6-9PM for a total of 6 hours but earn the BIG 8 hour pass! We need 6 strong dads (or moms) to set up racks. Working both of these times (total of 6 hours) will earn you an 8 hour worker spot!!! WOW. Be sure to place your name on both shifts!
NOTE: We need a minimum of 20 volunteers on Monday, April 12th for an evening of sorting (7-10PM)! We also need 20 volunteers for Tuesday, April 13th (10AM-3PM) for the other half of sorting. Both of these are crucial shifts; it is not hard, we just need lots of hands!
Volunteer Sign up
Signing up for our volunteer shifts is so simple! Click the "Volunteer Registration" button below. Find the shift you want, click on the shift. As soon as you click the shift, it signs you up for that shift; make sure it's the one you want. If it doesn't sign you up then the shift is already full. We will send you an email prior to the sale reminding you of your shifts. Volunteer Registration closes at 11:59PM on Monday, April 5 so make sure you choose a shift before that time!
Sign up early so you get the shift you want. Shifts will be assigned first come, first served. Many shifts fill up quickly! If you sign up for a shift and it only flips back to the same page (not signing you up) that means that shift is full, please try another shift.
>Volunteer Registration To earn an 8 hr pre-sale pass, you must work the hours at the sale. You cannot combine a 4hr Barter pass with 4 hours of sale time to earn an 8hr pass. You may work two 4hr shifts (on different days) to earn an 8hr pass, but cannot combine barter and work time.
IMPORTANT: You do not need to be a consignor to volunteer. To register as a volunteer go to www.oneweekboutique.com/register
If you have other questions about volunteering please email Kay@oneweekboutique.com but shift assignment must be done through the new automated system.
If you are interested in bartering, please visit that page and email questions to Bethany@oneweekboutique.com .
