You DO NOT have to be a consignor to volunteer at the One Week Boutique sale. Moms, pregnant moms, grandmothers, dads...anyone who wants to shop early for greatest deals! If volunteers work an 8 hour shift (or two combined 4 hr. shifts) then you shop on Saturday, September 13 at 12PM; if you work a 4 hour shift during our sale then you shop at 2PM. NOTE: some shifts designated with (*) are shorter hours but count as a higher pass—what a deal! One Week Boutique runs completely on volunteers. We need your help to set-up, staff and run the event. It takes a minimum of 100 volunteers to run this sale! You can volunteer for assigned times between Thursday, September 11 and Thursday, September 18. We especially need dads to help during Thursday, 9/11 evening set up and Thursday, 9/18 evening breakdown–these are short shifts that earn BIG hours!
By volunteering to work at the One Week Boutique you earn a pre-sale pass that lets you shop Saturday at 12PM or 2PM, before any others.
What will I do as a volunteer at One Week Boutique?
They are all fun jobs! You will meet other moms, dads and grandmas, aunts and sisters. Some of the things you may do are: help us keep the sales area straightened and neat, replace tags that have fallen off, greet customers as they arrive, detag the merchandise as customers are ready to check out, assist customers in finding correct sizes or items, on drop off days you may be hanging merchandise as it arrives, on sorting day you will be helping us put unsold items under the correct consignor number for pick up. All the jobs are easy; I always say "if you can count to 50 you've got it made"! We need your help as this sale is getting very large and it takes numerous people to make it run smoothly.
The complete volunteer worker schedule is below. If you would like to earn an 8 hour pre-sale pass just choose any 2 shifts that total 8 hours. These shifts can be on the same day or on different days.
CHECK THIS OUT: Volunteer both Thursday, September 11 from 7-9PM and the next Thursday, September 18 from 7-9PM for a total of 4 hours but earn the BIG 8 hour pass! We need 6 strong dads (or moms) to set up racks. Working both of these times (total of 4 hours) will earn you an 8 hour worker spot!!! WOW!
NOTE: We need a minimum of 30 volunteers on Thursday afternoon for sorting! This is a crucial shift; it is not hard, we just need lots of hands!

E-mail kay@oneweekboutique.com to choose your shift(s) and you MUST include your phone number in the email. Sign up early so you get the shift you want. Shifts will be assigned first come, first served. Certain shifts will fill up quickly!
IMPORTANT:
After you email, assume you got the shift you requested, unless you hear otherwise. With so many shift requests we will only reply if your shift is NOT available.
